The library will host a live virtual cooking demonstration from bestselling author Pailin Chongchitnant to discuss her latest cookbook Sabai: 100 Simple Thai Recipes for Any Day of the Week. In her signature straightforward approach, Pailin’s recipes are sure to make Thai cooking part of your everyday life. Pailin Chongchitnant grew up in Thailand, and attended Le Cordon Bleu culinary school in San Francisco. She launched her YouTube channel Pailin's Kitchen, where she hosts regular programs featuring step-by-step tutorials and answers Thai cooking questions. Her first book Hot Thai Kitchen: Demystifying Thai Cuisine with Authentic Recipes to Make at Home was a bestselling cookbook.
Copies of Sabai will be available for purchase courtesy of the Learned Owl Book Shop. Registration for this program is required and a valid email address is required at the time of registration. Participants will receive an email invitation to attend the program, hosted on Zoom, a day before the program begins.
