Matthew F. Kadish, Esq. of the Cleveland Law firm of Kadish, Hinkel & Weibel will present a two-part series focusing on protecting you, your money, your family, and your legacy. The first session on Wednesday, August 23 at 7 p.m. will cover the difference between a will and an “estate plan,” documents needed, as well as basics of property law, taxes, probate and trusts. Part II on Tuesday, August 29 at 7 p.m. will focus on estate tax reform, the role of life insurance, planning for retirement accounts, charitable planning, business succession and more. 
Matt Kadish is an attorney and shareholder in the Cleveland law firm of Kadish, Hinkel & Weibel. Matt formerly served as an attorney-advisor to Judge Herbert L. Chabot of the U.S. Tax Court, and received his LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law, his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, and his B.A. from Williams College. Matt has spoken nationally on various tax- and estate-planning related topics. He is a Fellow of both the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) and the American College of Tax Counsel (ACTC), and was named Best Lawyers’ Cleveland Tax Law “Lawyer of the Year” for 2013 and 2015. Matt is listed in Best Lawyers in America (Tax-Litigation & Practice, and Trusts and Estates) and as an Ohio Super Lawyer (Tax). The Estate Planning Council of Cleveland awarded Matt its 2010 Exceptional Service Award for his contributions to the estate planning community in the tax, federal legislation and estate planning areas, and named him its 2013 Distinguished Estate Planner.
