Calling all aspiring playwrights — join us for an exploration of how plays work. How are they different from prose? We’ll talk a bit, but mainly write and share (no pressure), and we’ll send you back into the world armed with some prompts, ideas, and new approaches to use on your writing journey.
About the Instructor:
Jake Jeppson is an award-winning playwright whose work has been produced in the UK and the USA. He is a graduate of the Yale School of Drama and has taught extensively at spots like Wesleyan University and the National Theater Institute. Jake is an associate artist with the innovative Scottish theater company, groupwork, and an affiliated writer at the Playwrights’ Center. Jake lives in Tivoli, NY.
