One-Page Comic Workshop with Kayla Miller

Join author/illustrator Kayla Miller to get a behind the scenes look at how graphic novels are made... and create your own one page comic story! Participants will learn techniques and practice skills for creating characters, generating ideas, writing scripts, and laying out comic panels. This workshop is geared toward elementary aged kids from 7-12 years old. 

About the Instructor: 

Kayla Miller is the New York Times bestselling creator of the graphic novels Click, Camp, Act, Clash, Crunch, Break, and Stuck and is the coauthor of the Besties series from the World of Click. An author-illustrator and cartoonist with a BFA from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Kayla lives and works in New York.
