On Your Feet! Joyful Strategies for Managing Neuropathy
Community Room

Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2-3pm
Neuropathy has many roots: chemotherapy, diabetes, Parkinson’s, pinched nerves, or just plain aging can bring it on - and leave you feeling as if your legs, feet, hands or fingers have fallen asleep. Neuropathy can make it hard to pick things up, unsafe to move around.

Certified IAYT yoga therapist Terry Roth Schaff and Qigong and Tai Chi teacher Karen Abramson would like to invite you to join them to learn ways to wake up your fingers, hands, heels and toes, and any other part of you that has fallen asleep from neuropathy. Improve your balance, posture, gait and ease in movement. This workshop will include informational introduction, about a half an hour of movement (both seated and standing), and time for Q&A.

About the Instructors:

Terry and Karen have been teaching together for over a decade. They are dedicated to making sure that everyone who travels with them on this path has a very good time and leaves with solid practices that they can keep doing on their own to sustain their progress.
