Sass & Brass delivers a thrilling entertainment package. For years it has been setting the tone in the Hudson Valley as the next wave of 'horn-energized' music.
Sass & Brass is eight members strong – all with truly diverse musical roots and experience. Some members have played with renowned acts on stages from Broadway & PBS TV to famed resort hotels and LA’s Hollywood Bowl.
The band's repertoire includes a blend of musical genres, from R & B, Classic Rock, Jazz, and Motown to Pop, Country, and some of today's contemporary favorites. They plan to perform tunes by Chicago, Stevie Wonder, Bon Jovi, The Doobie Brothers, Journey, Donna Summer, Taylor Swift, The Black Crows. Michael Jackson, and Whitney Houston.
The Roger Phillips Concert Series is a new outdoor summer concert series partnership with Starr Library. All concerts are free and open to the public. This project is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrants Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by Arts Mid-Hudson.
