Family Yoga with Rianna Fiorito
Community Room

Sunday, Mar. 17, 1:30-2:30pm
Looking to warm up during these chilly winter months? Now through the end of March, bend and flow with beloved yoga instructor and dance teacher Rianna Fiorito in our new Family Yoga program.

Explore the benefits of yoga in developing concentration, self- regulation, and self-confidence all while enjoying family fun. This program incorporates social-emotional learning by helping children connect to body and breath, while also connecting with one another! Rianna creates a safe and playful environment where your child is empowered and encouraged to stretch into a warrior, a lotus flower, and everything in between.

All participants should bring their own yoga mat and wear comfortable clothing. Space is limited. Please register for each person (kids and adults) who plans to attend. Geared toward children ages 3+  accompanied by an adult.

About the Instructor:

Rianna Fiorito is a Hudson native that has been working with children of all ages in all types of settings and environments since 2015. More recently, Rianna runs her own preschool classroom out of a school in Rhinebeck. In addition to the traditional classroom setting, Rianna is also a certified children's yoga instructor as well as a martial arts instructor for children and adults with a specific emphasis on creating instruction for those with special needs.  Separately, Rianna has danced in the Hudson Valley for over 15 years and was part of a traveling ballet company for most of her childhood. She has now become a dance teacher in her own right at Cherilyn's School of Dance in Pleasant Valley.

Rianna's studies in early childhood education, exercise science, and human services have given her the skills and knowledge to work with children and families in all different types of settings.  Above all, Rianna has always had a passion for teaching self -confidence, self-expression, and self-motivation in every child that she works with.

When Rianna is not at the dance studio or in her classroom, you can find her running around with her busy daughter, spending time with her friends and family, exercising, teaching at the dojo, relaxing with some yoga flows, and going on long hikes in the beautiful Hudson Valley.
