Literacy and Art with Theresa Corrigan

Join us for a three part workshop series, Wednesday's on August 17th, 24th and 31st, which will culminate with an art show at Starr Library on September 10th! Theresa Corrigan, a local collage artist, will lead young children in reading a book focused on healthy and positive expressions of emotions, followed by discussion and a therapeutic art project while listening to Mozart. Theresa will encourage children to talk about things that invoke feelings of happiness, frustration, excitement, and joy. Children will be provided with their own canvas and mterials to use.
