Libraries aren't all literature and reading; like most of the world, they're powered by STEAM concepts! The program will kick off with a discussion about Morton Public Library celebrating 100 years and the changes that have occurred in libraries over the last 100 years and what has stayed the same.  After learning about the Dewey Decimal System, GEMS girls will participate in a book shelving competition.  Book binding will be covered with the girls creating a journal using book binding skills.
