A Total Eclipse will take place on Monday, April 8, 2024,The total solar eclipse will be visible along a narrow track stretching from Texas to Maine. However, a partial eclipse will be visible throughout all 48 contiguous U.S. states.

Please come to the Children's Department of the Cesar Chavez Library to pick up your eclipse glasses kit which will include 2 glasses and a tip sheet for viewing the eclipse.  Limited quantities are available and will be limited to 1 kit per family.  Exchanges cannot be accomodated.  Distribution will take place from March 25th through April 6th, 2024 and while supplies last.
