From the comforts of your own home, even the comforts of your pajamas, please join us for our Virtual Book Club Called Shelf Care.  Find a comfortable place to sit, bring your coffee, tea or drink of your choice and click the link to your Zoom invite from your email.  This is a casual book club, if you did not read the book, come anyway.  The group will provide many future book suggestions for you. Shelf Care will choose a theme each month, the first theme has been chosen for you.  The themes followed will be chosen by Facebook Survey found on our Facebook page. 

There will be a moderator at each meeting to help lead.  You will have an opportunity to talk about your book and how it relates to the months theme. Questions can be asked in the chat box or outloud.  Each Zoom session is 40 minutes in length, the moderator will keep an eye on that and try to find a nice slowing down and stopping point. We will start promptly at 11 a.m., feel free to join even if you are running late, you just may miss a few things, but should be easy to catch up.

If a theme is chosen and you need book suggestions a list will be sent to you.  The titles chosen will be available for check out at our library or if you prefer we can make choices that you can download on one of your devices for free. 

What is Zoom?

Zoom  allows you to set up virtual video and audio conferencing, webinars, live chats, screen-sharing, and other collaborative capabilities.

You don't need an account to attend a Zoom meeting, and the platform is compatible with Mac, Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android, meaning nearly anyone can access it.
