Celebrate Oxford Local History Day 2024 with this child-friendly beeswax candle-making workshop! In this session (led by workshop instructors, Trash Theatre), participants will taste some local honey, learn about the kinds of bees that make beeswax, and sculpt their own candles to take home. (Note that the workshop will involve the use of portable stoves.)

Admission is free but registration is required (cap at 15 participants). **Ages 8-12 only.** To register, click the “Register” button (above; regsitration opens March 1st) and follow the prompts. Register your child using their full name and please include, where the form requests it, the full name and phone number of an adult contact (parent or guardian). Note that children ages 8, 9, and 10 cannot be left unattended in the library. Parents/guardians of children 8, 9 or 10 years old or younger must remain at the library for the duration of the workshop. Any parents/guardians who wish to assist their children in the workshop may join us in the Program Room.
