Paint with us! Dianne will guide participants through a virtual paint session of a scene imagined from this year’s Oxford Reads title: Emma Donoghue’s The Pull of the Stars. Follow along with Dianne on Thursday, September 23 at 7pm.

All of the supplies you will need can be purchased from Dollarama or switched out for similar items you may already have:

• One 12”x16” canvas ($3)
• 7 brush set ($3) you will need the large flat brush and a fine round brush and a medium round brush, this is a great set!
• Acrylic Paint by Deco Art
  • 1 black 4 oz
  • 1 white 4 oz
  • 1 blue 4 oz
  • 1 bright red 4 oz (small amount needed)
  • 1 sunny yellow 4 oz (small amount needed)
• A small piece of sponge
• A pencil
• Paper towel
• Table cover (newpaper or plastic bag)
• Paint tray or Styrofoam tray
• Water cup (to rinse brushes)
• Hairdryer (with low-heat setting to speed up drying time)
