Come meet Robert and Francisco for their showing of "Lens on Nature: Unveiling Landscapes and Wildlife".

Robert Zurfluh:
Growing up in 1970s Bavaria, Robert's fascination with American landscapes led him to his first camera in the early '80s and, eventually, to moving to the US in 1990. Since then, he has captured landscapes and wildlife images, judged photographic competitions, and taught photographers to enhance their skills. Robert volunteers with the Pinelands Preservation Alliance on their selection committee for the annual photographic exhibit and at the Bayard Rustin Center for Social Justice to capture images of their events. In 2023, Robert collaborated with Francisco on their photography tour to Iceland. In 2024, he will embark on a trip to Switzerland in October to capture the fall colors with fellow photographers eager to experience all Switzerland has to offer.

Francisco Gomez:
At the age of 16, upon arriving in the U.S., Francisco, a Colombian photographer, discovered his passion. During the 1990s, his passion evolved into an obsession, particularly as he captured mesmerizing images in the Amazon rainforest. The advent of social media helped his work to gain global recognition, earning praise from esteemed organizations like National Geographic. His images have been exhibited in the U.S., Colombia, the Netherlands, and Germany. Since 2018, Francisco has been leading photography tours in Colombia, providing participants with unique cultural experiences amid breathtaking landscapes and diverse bird-life.
