The Cranbury Library Foundation is hosting its first “Bake-A-Book” competition
 

WHAT:                       Baking Competition and Free Cake Tasting!

TIME:                         12:30pm-1pm     Bakers Drop Off Goods                    

                                            1pm                    Judging Begins

                                           1:30pm               Tasting and Winners Announced

DATE:                      Saturday, May 13, 2022

LOCATION:             Cranbury Public Library

           30 Park Place West

                                   Cranbury NJ 08512

                                 Large Conference Room

All Cranbury Residents are invited to attend

We are asking bakers to create a cake or cupcakes based on their favorite book.  For inspiration check out 24 Incredible Cakes Inspired By Books.  All baking experience levels welcomed!    

The competition will be divided into three age groups:   8-12;   13-17;   18+

The judging criteria is as follows:

1. Execution, 2. Appearance, 3. Taste

A grand prize will be awarded to each baker in their age division

Bakers - please sign up by May 6^th
             - all baked goods should be dropped off at the library between 12:30PM and 1:00PM on day of competition

Tasters - please come and support the bakers and sample their goods.
