In January, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine signed a sweeping package of election changes into law, including the state’s first photo ID voting requirement. Other changes shrink the window for mail-in ballots to be counted and for curing provisional ballots, eliminating one day of early voting, eliminating most August special elections, and restricting curbside voting.
