Artist books are bound by hand and take unusual forms. Josette Lee will discuss her work, along with the work of the other local artists she collaborates with, in this informal craft talk that is a follow-up to the exhibition of artist books on view in April.
Artists’ books are books that are made as art objects. They are often interactive, portable, movable and easily shared. Some artists’ books challenge the conventional book format and become sculptural objects. Artists’ books are made from a variety of materials, including found objects.
The books in April's exhibition were made by: Pam Wright, Pat Reilly, Josette Lee and Lorraine Hartin-Gelardi
