Historian Talk: Wildfair the 2025 Mansion in May
Where: Virtual Program
When: Thursday, Apr. 10, 6:30pm
Join historian, W. Barry Thomson as he explores the 2025 Mansion in May - Wildfair.

Rich in history, Wildfair’s origins extend over 220 years. Initially a thriving farm and the site of a gristmill, sawmill and millstone workshop, the estate was transformed in 1934 by Elizabeth and Harry Bowly Hollins III. They enlisted the Philadelphia architectural firm Willing, Sims & Talbutt to craft their vision of a refined country retreat. Retaining the original stone farmhouse, they added extensive fieldstone expansions, creating the estate known as Wildfair. Its Colonial charm is accentuated by small-pane casement windows, French doors and bay windows overlooking the estate's serene pond. In the mid-1990s, significant enhancements by architect Hiland Hall Turner and Eberle Builders, Inc. further refined the estate into the sprawling, elegant property it is today.
