An artist known for his application of oil paint and meticulous attention to detail, Jan van Eyck ushered in a new style of painting that forever changed the history of art. Works to be examined include the Ghent Altarpiece, the Arnolfini Portrait, Portrait of a Man in a Red Turban, and more.
