Ages: Children ages 5-10, or those homeschooling in grades K-4
Each month, homeschoolers come together to work on a fun, engaging project with friends and other homeschoolers in our region. For our April meeting, we will be hosting a springtime themed art workshop for our upcoming children's art show, "Springtime: Works on Paper." Workshop participants will have access to pencils, paint, watercolors, chalk, paper, and other materials to create their own entry for the art show. Free creation welcome, though Miss Neena will also be showing us how to create floral resist art with watercolors, crayon, and glue.
Registration is required and monthly, so join only for the projects you are interested in or join every month!
Kids can then leave their favorite piece to be entered into our children's art exhibition. For more details about the show and our opening reception, see below.
Springtime: Works on Paper Art Exhibition
Ages: grades K-12
All mediums welcome, as long as work is of 8.5 x 11 inches (typical paper size)
Show runs: May 3- 31 in the main library
Opening reception: Saturday, May 3, 2:00 - 4:00 PM
All artwork will be returned to the artists in June.
