Make Earth Day every day!  Led by Dutchess County’s Recycling Program Educator Dani White, this presentation will cover the evolving R’s: reduce, reuse, recycle, repair, refuse, rot, and rethink! It will also go into the dos and don’ts of recycling, where garbage and recyclables in the County go, and why it’s important to responsibly dispose of your waste for our environment and community.


About the Instructor:

Dani White is Dutchess County’s Recycling Program Educator and has been since January 2024. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Sustainability Management from the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry – a program focused on environmental science, economics, and sociology. Prior to this, her background was in sustainable trail building, stream management, and Catskill ecology.
