PRI - Earth Day - In
PRI - Earth Day - Into the Wild of Ontario with David Chapman

Wednesday, Apr. 23, 6-7pm
He's back by popular demand! Join us for an engaging presentation by David T Chapman on the natural wonders of nature and wildlife in Ontario.

Wednesday April 23rd from 6-7pm.  Doors open at 5:45pm.

This adventurous presentation has a great mix of exciting subjects covering all levels of the atmosphere. We begin on the edge of space, exploring some of the neat things that happen there and discover how earth protects us from them. This includes Aurora Borealis, Meteors and Noctilucent Clouds. We travel down to ground level where we take a brief but fun look at the Ontario Trillium. You wouldn't believe how many petals some of these flowers can have! We take a look up into Ontario's deciduous and coniferous trees where we can see the natural habitat of many of the most colourful songbirds along with some of the most mysterious - the Owls. At last we finish off this show taking an indepth look at examples of the weirdest clouds you can witness in our troposphere and how they happen!
