Wednesday, Apr. 9, 5pm
April 9 @ 5pm
Into the Wild of Nature Photography
Join us at the Ingersoll Library branch to learn about capturing the beauty of nature on camera! We'll explore how to use the weather and time of day to your advantage, how to set up the perfect shot of the birds in your back yard, how macro photography can help you focus on the smallest subjects, and much more!
In this fascinating nature photography presentation, we will focus on three exciting areas of outdoor photography. The first one being landscapes, sunrises/sunsets, autumn colours, wooded and agricultural areas as well as utilizing changes in the weather to make the same location look entirely different. The second segment will cover wildlife photography. This will be mainly focusing on both songbirds and birds of prey but also some of the exciting wildlife we can see right here in Ontario. Last, but not least, we will be looking into the highly detailed world of macro photography as we take a much closer look at the world of wildflowers and insects. As a bonus to this presentation and to finish off a captivating program, I will be doing a segment on night photography which will cover the northern lights and more. This presentation is great for any photographer's level of experience as we will not only be taking a look at compositions, but also various camera settings to achieve very beautiful and realistic photographs.
