Finding the Right Mother Workshop

Saturday, Mar. 15, 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
or call 765-654-8746.

Jennifer Van Horn will teach participants how to find and use different source types, as well as indirect evidence, to help determine the correct mother of children in a family group. She will also present completed research case studies, one of which will include DNA evaluation, so attendees can see the application of what they are learning. Participants will have the opportunity to practice with hands-on exercises.

Van Horn is a Genealogy Library volunteer at the SullivanMunce Cultural Center in Zionsville, where she helps beginners and lifelong family historians find something new. She also serves as the president of the Boone County Genealogical Society.
