TIL - Discover Your Past: Family Tree Research for Beginners

Tuesday, Jan. 21, 1:30pm
Interested in learning new ways to research your family's history? Join us for our monthly Discover Your Past program, which covers different topics, skills, and resources related to local history and family tree research.

January's session (January 21st at 1:30pm) will offer information and advice to researchers just beginning (or thinking of beginning) their family tree research. We'll cover how to begin, what online services are available (paid and not paid), what are the best kinds of sources to use first, what kinds of resources can be found online versus in a local collection, and more.

Join us either in person at the Tillsonburg Library or remotely via Zoom. No registration is required. (The Zoom link will be posted here on the day of the session. It is also sent to members of the Discover Your Past email list.) Note that for privacy reasons these sessions are not recorded.

If you have any questions, or would like to be added to the Discover Your Past mailing list, please call the library at 519-842-5571 or email Matt at mgriffis@ocl.net.
