Program for kids ages 5-10.

Explore and learn with Ann Courcy of the Steward Outdoor Day School. Children will explore outside of the library and collect leaves, plants, and seed pods! Then, kids will share and discuss their discoveries with their peers while identifying and sketching the natural materials they have gathered.

Steward Outdoor Day School, located in Ivoryton, CT, is a program of Incarnation Center, a non-profit 501(c)(3) with a 130+ year legacy of delivering life-changing education, retreat and camping programs to thousands of youth and adults from across the country and around the world each year.

Essex Library programs are free and open to the public.
