November 8^th thru December 20^th in celebration of Veteran's Day this November, and in honor of those who have served in the U.S. Military, past and present, the Rensselaer Library is commemorating the occasion with our " Heroes Tree," a tree decorated by local veterans and their families with photos of those who have served in the U.S. Military. The "Heroes Tree" is a tradition that promotes patriotism among members of our community and offers inspiration and encouragement to families who are experiencing separation or loss of their loved one during this holiday season. Honor your loved one by bringing in a photo of your military hero starting November 8^th thru December 20^th. Bring a photo to the front desk with the person’s name and branch of service.
