Join the library and Erin E. for Chess Club, where chess enthusiasts of all levels come together to sharpen their skills, compete, and have fun! Whether you're a beginner eager to learn the ropes or an experienced player looking to improve your game, this club offers a supportive and engaging environment for all. Each session will feature structured lessons on strategies, tactics, and game analysis, followed by practice matches and friendly competitions. Special sessions will include puzzle-solving challenges and tournament play. Our goal is to help you grow as a player, no matter where you're starting from. Registration for chess club is required as space is limited. Open to adults and teens 16+.
Erin is a passionate chess player with a rating of 1500 in rapid chess, aiming to reach 1700. Her journey with chess has been filled with ups and downs, but she is constantly striving to improve and share her love for the game. Outside of chess, she enjoys fly fishing and tennis.
