December's selection: "Out Cold: A Chilling Descent into the Macabre, Controversial, Lifesaving History of Hypothermia" by Philip Jaekl
**THIS MONTH'S EVENT WILL BE HELD VIRTUALLY AND ON A SUNDAY NIGHT DUE TO THE HOLIDAYS. The Zoom link will be emailed to all registrants on Saturday, December 28th. *
An 18+ non-fiction macabre focused book club diving into the darker parts of your library, whether it be true crime cases, morally ambiguous medical practice, spirits, and ghosts, or death itself.
We discuss 1 book each month in a 45-minute discussion. Monthly discussions will be held in-person at the Sayreville Library on the Monday before the larger "Morbidly Curious Book Club" group's online discussion. Books are not provided by the library, but staff are happy to help place holds.
You do not have to commit to anything. Come and join as you may and discuss at your own will. Members are strongly encouraged to join the MCBC and our chapter via Bookclubs.com. Readers are always welcome, though.
Please check trigger warnings on all books we discuss. It is safe to assume they will be touching on almost all the trigger warnings. Some may be easy to miss. Proceed with caution.
