Do you hate throwing something away and adding to a landfill because it is no longer working?  Do you wish you could see if it could be fixed?  Would you like to see if fixing something is something you could learn?  Register for the LHT Library’s first Fix-It Café!  We will have volunteers who will try to determine if your item can be fixed and then try to repair it with your help.  For our first Café, you can register for a time slot with items to be sewn, a bike that needs a chain repair, and most electric items not working such as a lamp or a toaster.  Once you register, if your item does not fit within the skills of the Fix-It Café volunteers, you will be notified. No one will be seen without an appointment.
