Join Jen for another fun sewing session.
For Sept 21, we will learn how to read and use clothing patterns. Bring your pencil, a notebook, and all of the questions you can think of. We will not be sewing this month.
For Oct 19, we will be making a patchwork acorn trivet. This is a great project to use up your fabric scraps, so please bring some if you have them. Otherwise, scraps from this year's classes and other supplies will be provided.
For Nov 16, we will be making round baskets. Supplies needed: 1/4 yard of woven fabric for shell of basket, 1/4 yard of woven fabric for basket lining.
For Dec 14, we will be making English Paper Piecing star ornaments. This class involves hand sewing. This is another chance to use up any fabric scraps you have. Stars consist of six sections, so fabric combinations and variety are up to you.
Sewing machines will be provided, but feel free to bring your own.
