GT- Astronomy Month: The Moon, How It Was Formed, How It Affects Us, and Its Future.

The Sky Is Not the Limit: August is Astronomy Month at the Georgetown Library.
Saturday, August 17th at 1:00 p.m. at the Georgetown Community Center Awanish Mishra of the Sacramento Astronomical Society will be presenting a talk on "The Moon, How It Was Formed, How It Affects Us, and Its Future."
We will be bringing a variety of Astronomy speakers, activities, kid’s activities and more to the community for the month of August. Keep an eye out for all the fun things to come. The Georgetown Friends of the Library was generously awarded a grant from the Latrobe Fund that is making these programs possible.
This event will be held at the Georgetown Community Center, 6329 Lower Main St. Georgetown
