GT- Astronomy Month: Solar Viewing with Telescopes

The Sky Is Not the Limit: August is Astronomy Month at the Georgetown Library.
Saturday, August 10th at 10:00 a.m. at the Georgetown Park, Docents from the Community Observatory will be offering solar viewing with hydrogen alpha and white light solar telescopes. This is an all-ages event.
We will be bringing a variety of Astronomy speakers, activities, kid’s activities and more to the community for the month of August. Keep an eye out for all the fun things to come. The Georgetown Friends of the Library was generously awarded a grant from the Latrobe Fund that is making these programs possible.
