StoryWalk® is back!
For our second annual Storywalk®, we are leaning into our summer of Smokey Bear. This year's book is the Smokey Bear Story, written by the US Forest Service with illustrations by Joe Kulka.
Why the summer of Smokey? This year, Smokey Bear celebrates his 80th birthday. At the Red Lodge Carnegie Library, you can pick up a Reading/Activity Challenge as well as a Flat Smokey bookmark to take with you on reading and real-life adventures. On August 9 (his actual birthday), we will have a party at the library to celebrate.
The StoryWalk® is located at Field School Park, on Villard Avenue between 9th and 10th Streets (AKA where you find the tennis/pickleball courts and seesaw playground, across from the Boys & Girls Club, Beartooth Children's Center, and skate park).
We’d love to be tagged in photos of your kids enjoying the StoryWalk®! (Red Lodge Carnegie Library on Facebook and Instagram) #StoryWalk

The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library in Montpelier Vermont. Storywalk® is a registered service mark owned by the Kellogg-Hubbard Library.
Sponsored by Keep Kids Reading Town Pump Chartible Foundation grant.
