Recycle Right: What Can Be Recycled, What Can’t, And Why (hybrid)
Tuesday, Feb. 6, 7-8 pm
With Ridgewood Recycling Program's Sean Hamlin, supervisor/recycling coordinator, and Johanna Lutrell, recycling program aide.
Putting unaccepted items in recycling bins can damage equipment, harm workers, and reduce the value and environmental benefits of recycling. Learn more about what those numbers on plastic containers mean, whether pizza boxes (drinking glasses, coffee cups, and more) are recyclable, and what happens after the truck hauls your recyclables away.
Everyone is welcome. Meets in auditorium and Facebook live. Register to ask Sean and Johanna questions in advance.
Questions: Larissa Brookes, (201) 670-5600, ext. 2137
