We are hosting a “Thrifted Ghost Painting” party at the Georgetown Library on Saturday, October 21 from 12:00-3:00. Bring your own thrifted artwork or old picture you want to “ghost up” or use one of the pictures the Friends of the Library is supplying. All other art supplies will be provided.
What is “Thrifted Ghost Painting”? It is the latest TikTok trend where you take an old, inexpensive paintings and then transforming them into adorable yet eerie Halloween masterpieces by painting cute ghosts and other spooky things over them.
