Meet Children's Author Krissi Russell
Local Author of Little Bears Books. Each book/CD set tells a story about nature that educates, inspires and entertains.
Little Bear Books began at a Lake Tahoe lemonade stand in 2005. Krissi’s son was selling lemonade when a bear wandered down the street. It came within 10 feet of his stand. Don’t worry; he didn’t feed the bear lemonade! But the event inspired the song “Don’t Feed Our Bears,”, and Little Bear Books.
In The Meadow (Don’t Feed Our Bears), a musical tale about the importance of not feeding bears and other wildlife.
On The Trail, a sing-along story that teaches trail etiquette and Leave No Trace ethics.
No alimente a nuestros osos Don’t Feed Our Bears, a bilingual version of In The Meadow with a digital download of music included with book purchase.
