Contemporary architecture entered a completely new realm with the most innovative contributions of Frank Gehry, a Canadian/American architect based in California. His buildings are sculptural, playful, dynamic, they dance and twist and draw you in with a sense of curiosity. While his early designs were part of the California funk art movement, his masterpieces include the Walt Disney Concert Hall in LA, the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, and the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris.
