Plant Wildflowers Storytime

Saturday, Oct. 15, 10:30 am
Celebrate Pollinator Week with stories about bees, butterflies, and other essential creatures. Everyone will receive a seed packet for wildflowers native to the northeast, so you can plant one square foot of pollinator heaven.

Each packet includes a QR code linking to the PBS documentary "My Garden of a Thousand Bees". The filmmaker created cameras and microphones tiny enough to capture the dozens of types of bees living in his backyard, allowing him to follow bees as they travelled from flower to flower, collecting pollen and evading predators.

"One Squaree Foot" is an initiative of World Wildlife Fund and Air Wick® Scented Oils that seeks to encourage everyone to plant native wildflowers to support pollinators.

No registration required.
