Connecticut Cryptids
Tuesday, Feb. 27, 6:00 pm
Join Patrick Scalisi and Valerie Ruby-Omen for a talk about their new book, Connecticut Cryptids. Pat and Val did extensive research on creature folklore from throughout the state. They'll explain the concepts of "cryptozoology" and "cryptids," followed by a live storytelling session on the chapter specific to Naugatuck (yes, Naugatuck has its own cryptid!) There will also be time for questions and a chance to purchase signed books and prints from the creators.  Sponsored by Howard Whittemore Memorial Library.
