When you register for this Take Out program, you will receive materials to create a pretend play Apple Orchard. This program is geared toward children ages 3-6. Only one family member needs to register. We'll provide the themed materials, you provide the glue, scissors, crayons, and your imagination! Pop-up Story Time in
Drexel Town Square

Join us outdoors for Pop-up Story Time in Drexel Town Square. This 20-minute interactive Story Time incorporates stories, songs, and rhymes.

For ages 0-5, with an adult. Registration is not required. Seating will be on the cement in the center of the square, so please feel free to bring a blanket to sit on. This program may be canceled due to inclement weather; please stay tuned on our Facebook page for updates and cancellations.

Oak Creek Public Library offers virtual computer classes “on demand."  These classes are available to view at any time. Pre-recorded videos are posted to the Oak Creek Library’s YouTube Channel, available here.

Registration is not required for any of these classes. If you are interested in receiving a digital copy of the curricula that is covered in class, please email library@oakcreekwi.org.

Digital certificates of completion are available for participants who complete the related assignments/quizzes. Email library@oakcreekwi.org to receive the assignment/quiz for the specific class you are interested in viewing. Once the assignment/quiz is completed, the instructor will email a digital certificate of completion.

Friends of the Libra

For more than 20 years, the Friends of the Oak Creek Public Library has served as an independent organization of persons and businesses interested in assisting the library in developing programs, encouraging gifts, promoting knowledge and providing a channel for individuals and organizations to express ideas and make suggestions for library use and services. All money raised by the Friends (including membership dues) is given back to the library.

Membership
Membership is currently free. Please consider joining us to support our amazing library and have fun doing it. 
If you're interested, join online, print off a membership form, or ask for a membership form next time you're at the library. 

Meetings
Our meetings are held the second Wednesday of every month (except for July and August) at 6:00 pm, typically held in the Multi-purpose Room.

The Oak Creek Public Library Board of Trustees serves as the governing body of the Oak Creek Public Library.  The Board is composed of seven members, each appointed by the Mayor for staggered three-year terms. The boardusually meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month in the Civic Center. Some meetings may be held virtually. Agendas and minutes can be found online here
