Families and friends are invited to sign up for our first Puzzles & Pie competition of 2022! Eat as much pie as you want, but the real competition is finishing your puzzle before anyone else! Prizes will be awarded to groups that finish their puzzle the quickest or get the most done. Groups may not exceed 5 people. Registration is required. Join us for the second author of our Winter Author Series, Sally Franson! We will be in the Police Annex on Thursday, January 27th from 6-7:30pm.
SALLY FRANSON is the author of A LADY'S GUIDE TO SELLING OUT, which was named a Minnesota Book Award finalist. Her writing has appeared in The Guardian, NPR Weekend Edition, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Best American Travel Writing, and she reviews books regularly for the San Francisco Chronicle. A screen adaption of her novel is currently in development with Anonymous Content.

Adults 21+ are invited to join us for our 4th Adult Spelling Bee on Friday, January 28th from 7-9pm! Tickets are $15 per person on teams of 3-4 people. Entrance to the Spelling Bee area starts at 6:00pm with the event starting at 7pm. This will be held at the Mankato Brewery. Registration includes a drink ticket for each person on the team. Join us for the next author in our Winter Author Series, Kathleen West! We will be in the Police Annex on Thursday, February 10th from 6-7:30pm.
Kathleen West’s novels have been best- books picks by Real Simple, Newsweek, People Magazine, Entertainment Weekly, Good Morning America, and the New York Post. A schoolteacher with more than 20 years’ experience, Kathleen is particularly interested in the topics of motherhood, ambition, competitive parenting, and the elusiveness of work-life balance. Her new novel, Home Or Away, publishes in March 2022.
