Create your own shrinky dink keychain! Pick up a kit at the library, and then get creative at home.

We will provide you with special shrinky dink paper, a pizza template, and instructions.  You will need to use your own oven and colored pencils.

Kit pickup will begin on Monday, May 17. Registration is required as supplies are limited. Sign up online!

Join us Tuesday, May 18th at 6 pm for a virtual book discussion through Zoom. We'll be discussing Nomadland, by Jessica Bruder.

Place a hold on the book today or check with the Library's reference desk for a copy. This title is also available as a digital book and audio book through Libby, and as an audio book through Hoopla. Register and include your email address and we'll email you the meeting link and password a few days before the meeting.

Virtual LEGO Club

Grades 3-5. Sign up to receive a new LEGO building challenge to complete at home each month. We will meet via Zoom for a monthly LEGO Show & Tell.

When you register you are signing up for eight months of LEGO Club fun, October-May. Registration is required. You must provide your email address so that we can securely send you the monthly challenge and the Zoom link.

Join us on the library grounds and kick-off the start of summer 2021! Find out what's happening at the library and sign up for reading challenges. Make a book bag and get creative with sidewalk chalk. Dance with the bubble machine and make a summer reading button. We'll have the Kona ice truck here for a treat. Fun for all ages!
In case of inclement weather, some events will be held inside the library. Supplies are limited.

Take It, Make It Activity Kits: age 3 to entering 1st grade.  

Sign up for a fun “Take It, Make It” kit to complete at home!  This kit is most appropriate for ages 3 and up and has been designed to be a team effort between kids and adults.  Feel free to adapt the activities to suit your child’s age and attention span.  This week you can make some cute animal sculptures with pipe cleaners and beads! 

Registration begins 6/21 at 9:00.  We will have a total of 75 kits per age group.

Family Fun Night: Da
Monday, Jun. 21, 6:30 p.m.

Join us for Family Fun Night – high quality professional performances suitable for the whole family.  All shows will be held outside of the library so remember to dress for the weather and bring something to sit on.  Since we will be outdoors, we will not use tickets or pre-registration but do be sure to maintain a safe social distance. 

Monday, June 21.  Naturalist David Stokes!  Wisconsin’s favorite funny naturalist will be at the Pewaukee Public Library to share some great information about our wild friends.  Kids will get a chance to interact with frogs, turtles, and more.  Best for ages 5 and older.
