SLT - RUFF (Read Up

Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe’s reading program, RUFF (Read Up For Fun) is designed to build self esteem in young readers. Trained volunteers bring their dogs into the library where children will read to the dog. The dog provides a comforting audience perfect for allowing children a safe atmosphere to practice their reading skills. Join us on Wednesday afternoons from 4:30 - 5:30 pm for an opportunity to Read Up For Fun!

SLT - Crawl Space Ba

The Crawl Space is a free and safe space for babies and toddlers with their mom, dad, or another caregiver to socialize, play, and share information. Parenting tips and child development information will be offered.
The Crawl Space Young Toddler Group (Mondays 9:30 – 10:30am) is geared toward children ages 13 – 24 months.
The Crawl Space Baby Group (Mondays 11:15am – 12:15pm) is geared toward children 0 – 12 months.
