Join us for upcoming events, classes and programs at Hubbard Memorial Library! All events are free and open to the public. Registration required where noted.

All experience levels are welcome for an hour of chess, some instruction provided. Club meets every other Monday. For ages 9-17, please register.  No matter what level you start at, you'll be better after playing with the club!

If you have a little one who loves music, this program is for you! Join us for a half-hour of adult-&-child singing, clapping, and stomping along to favorite kids’ songs!
No need to register, just drop in. Emergency cancellations will be posted on our Facebook page.
Note: During warmer months when the weather is nice (over 55 degrees, dry, and not too windy), this program will take place on the lawn.

My First Words is a four-class program presented by certified a speech-language pathologist from Connect 2 Communicate which focuses on early communication and how to support infant speech and language development. Dip-Dyed Color Mobil

The summer reading program theme is Color Your World, and we're going to get started with this easy, fun art project. A little folding, a little dipping, a little drying, and a little string are all we need to make a gorgeous hanging explosion of color! 
Recommended for ages 5-14. Please register.

Read to a Poodle

Quill the poodle will visit the Youth Room every other Wednesday, and he is a good listener! Sign up for a 10-15 minute reading session.
Quill is a registered Brightspot therapy dog.
Pokemon Club

For grades 3-8. Bring your cards, Nintendo Switch, phone, or tablet for Pokemon Go, handheld gaming, and trading. All trades will be supervised by staff who will check market value; all trades must be of equal market value.
