1,000 Books Before Kindergarten is a nationwide program that encourages you to read with your child.
To start your reading journey, come to the Children’s Department to get a reading log and a free book.
For every reading log completed, pick a prize from the treasure box!

This program is for BEGINNER & INTERMEDIATE PLAYERS!
You must register for each date you wish to attend!

Adult Tea Leaf Readi

Discover the art of tea leaf reading with Celeste Readings & Psychic Encounters! Join us for an enchanting experience where you'll learn to interpret the patterns and symbols in tea leaves. Choose from Afternoon Tea at 12:45 PM or Dessert Tea at 7:00 PM, each accompanied by light snacks. Celeste will provide the tea and guide you through the fascinating practice of tasseography. Whether you're a curious beginner or a tea enthusiast, this event promises a delightful blend of learning and fun. Don’t miss it!

Teen Café

Join us everyday after school in our café space!
School Full Day | 2:45 - 4
School Half Day | 12:20 - 2
Teens will be given a space to hang out, chat, craft, and do homework.
The rest of the library is always open to our teens, but we ask that teens remain quiet and be respectful of others using the space!
Teens will be asked to join us in the café if they cannot follow Library rules.

We have 2 sets of canasta cards and 2 sets of Mahjongg for patrons to use but please feel free to bring your own supplies.

Join us and learn how to make a floral art print using a plastic bag!
Sensory Activities (
Wednesday, Apr. 23, 6:00-6:30pm
For children ages 3-8 with special needs, accompanied by a grown-up.
Children engage in free play (blocks, puzzles, cars, etc.). Next, we read 2-3 books based on that week’s theme.
Then, we wrap up with a sensory activity/craft.
