Members of our Canasta Club are invited to meet up at the library and continue to practice their skills. 
The meeting room space will be available on Tuesdays this summer from 10:00 AM - 11:45 PM!

This event is for adults only! 
Join us for an 8 week session with Jodi Benson and learn how to play Mahjong! This group is for every level of experience - whether you're new to the game or an absolute pro! 
We will be meeting Tuesdays at 12PM (after canasta!) on the following dates: July 9, July 16, July 23, July 30, August 6, August 13, August 20, and August 27. 
Sessions are limited to 16 participants, priority is given to town residents!

Join this year’s winner of the National Book Award for Young People's Literature, Dan Santat, as he inspires tweens and teens to tell their own stories through graphic novels. His winning book, A First Time for Everything, is a graphic memoir based on his own awkward middle school years and the trip to Europe that changed his life.

Dan Santat began drawing as a young boy and although he first studied microbiology, he pursued his passion in illustration. He spent many hours as a child and teenager teaching himself to draw by copying illustrations from comic books until he developed the unique, recognizable style that we see today. His talk will inspire listeners to draw their own story as well as give them practical tips on the creation of graphic novels.
 
About the Author: Dan Santat is a Caldecott Medal winner, a National Book Award winner, and a New York Times bestselling author and illustrator. His artwork is also featured in numerous picture books, chapter books, and middle-grade novels. Santat created the animated television show, "The Replacements," as well. He lives in Southern California with his wife and two children. Sponsored by Friends of the Pequannock Township Public Library.

• Trivet Painting with The Pottery Bisque It | July 17th | Limited to 15 Pequannock patrons. 
• Shark Needle Felting | July 24th | Limited to 10 Pequannock patrons. 
• Sew It! Workshop Library Tote | July 31st | Limited to 10 Pequannock patrons. 
• Paint Your Own Birdhouse | Agust 7th | Limited to 20 Pequannock patrons. 
• Paint by Number | Augut 14th | Limited to 20 Pequannock patrons. 
• Dark Background Flora Painting | August 21st | Limited to 20 Pequannock patrons. 

Registration for all summer programs begins May 15th! 
You must register for each Adult Summer Camp event you wish to attend! 
Priority will be given to Pequannock residents. 

Grades 6-8 will be instructed how to use a sewing machine to make their very own library tote bag.
Sewing machines and materials are provided.
No experience needed!
