Playful Painting: Pets by Faye Moorhouse
Check out one of our summer painting kits and learn to make whimsical watercolors of dogs, cats and other pets. You can use the kit at home, or join us at our Wednesday morning Open Studios for a bit more encouragement and camaraderie. We'll plan to meet on the deck, weather permitting. Registration isn't required, but it would help us with our planning.
Each kit includes: Playful Painting: Pets by Faye Moorhouse, paper, palette, gouche, and brushes.  Everything you need for hours of creative play!

The sixth and final installment of Story Time this summer! With our summer reading theme of Tails & Tales, we will be all about all the animals! We will be reading about Safari animals in this story time. We will read books, make music, have a show and tell moment, maybe even frolic in some bubbles! Each child will recieve a "Take & Make" craft to do at home that goes with the theme.
All Story Times will be held out back on the Deck, weather permitting. Bring a picnic blanket, a snack, and a favorite animal stuffy for Show & Tell. While masks are still required inside the library, once you are outside on your socially distanced family blanket, your mask may come off.
Thursday mornings at 10:30am, we have room for 10 families, and are asking you to register.  When registering, please mark how many "craft age" children you have so that supplies are collected appropriately. If you sign up, and cannot attend, please let the library staff know as soon as you can so that we may open your spot up to another family.
