"WHAT IS D&D? In Dungeons & Dragons, the players form an adventuring party who explore fantasy worlds together, embark on epic quests, and level up. The Dungeon Master (also known as the DM) is the game's referee and lead storyteller." (quoted from Dndbeyond.com)

Come play D&D with us! DM Drue will be leading our brave adventuring party (that could be you!) through a series of twists and turns on an epic quest to... get back home? If you'd like to make your own character, please bring a level 2 character sheet with you. If you'd rather have assistance, want a premade character, or have no idea what any of this means, characters can also be made day of.
Registration is required for this program, but walk ins are welcome as long as there is room! Please email Lyndsey at lrobinson@ledyardlibrary.org for more questions.

Senior Book Discussi
Wednesday, May 28, 10:30 A.M.
Each month we meet at the Ledyard Senior Center to discuss a new book. This month we're discussing "First Lie Wins" by Ashley Elston

Evie Porter has everything a nice Southern girl could want: a doting boyfriend, a house with a white picket fence, a tight group of friends. The only catch: Evie Porter doesn’t exist.

The identity comes first: Evie Porter. Once she’s given a name and location by her mysterious boss, Mr. Smith, she learns everything there is to know about the town and the people in it. Then the mark: Ryan Sumner. The last piece of the puzzle is the job.

Evie isn’t privy to Mr. Smith’s real identity, but she knows this job isn’t like the others. Ryan has gotten under her skin, and she’s starting to envision a different sort of life for herself. But Evie can’t make any mistakes—especially after what happened last time.

Evie Porter must stay one step ahead of her past while making sure there’s still a future in front of her. The stakes couldn’t be higher—but then, Evie has always liked a challenge...

Saturday, Jun. 7, 3:00 P.M.
or call 860-464-9112.
“Welcome to Square Foot Gardening”, will introduce an easy gardening method that utilizes space efficiently, without the waste and work of a typical single row garden. Even beginners with no prior gardening experience, can produce large yields of organic vegetable crops on only 20% of the space and with only 10% of the maintenance labor. The Square Foot Gardening (SFG) methodology uses raised beds with a special “Soil”, grids for efficient plant spacing and a minimum of seeds, water and tools.
