ABC’s Can Be E
Friday, Apr. 19, 10:30 a.m.
Come and learn the alphabet with Ms.Bree!  We will introduce and explore letters through hands-on games, activities and songs.  The first 30 minutes will be led by Ms.Bree, then the second part of class will be for parent/child exploration at different letter stations.  Registration is required as spots are limited.  Ages 2.5-5.
Foodie Friday
Friday, Apr. 19, 3:00 p.m. (Fridays at 3:00 and 4:00 p.m.)
Free. Food. The catch? You need to cook it! Don’t worry, we’ll help you learn everything from how to peel garlic, to the safe way of holding a knife, to how to test if chicken is done cooking. With new recipes every week, this is a learning opportunity you won’t want to miss.

The third week of every month, we will invite a special guest or do a special cooking challenge. These will be 2 hour sessions starting at 3:00. We will not have a 4:00 session on the third Friday of the month.

There are limited spots available and sign up  is first come first serve on the day of the event. However, if this week fills up, we can sign you up for a guaranteed spot in next week’s session!
Milk Jug Planting

The Burlington Area Garden Club is coming to the library to teach kids the basics of planting! It's almost Earth Day, so let's make it a double lesson in planting and recycling! We'll use milk jugs as planters. At the end, you can bring home your new plant baby! Sponsored by Burlington Garden Club.

Ages 6+
You ever look at a fluffy sheep and think “How exactly does that become a sweater?!” Join us as we take raw wool and turn it into a lovely woven coaster for you to take home. You’ll also be going home with your very own DIY drop spindle so you can keep practicing on your own! This lesson is intended for kids 6 and up. Younger siblings may attend the Music and Movement class happening concurrently!

We have a monthly murder mystery waiting for you then!    Each mystery will have objectives that you need to find the answers to within one hour.  Make sure to pick up your packets when you sign up. Is your kid into music? Do they want to create their own music...someday? Well thanks to a grant from Music Matters, that day could be closer than they think! Thanks to the generous support of Music Matters, the library is able to offer composition classes taught by local music teacher, Ms. Kuhlow! Kids will learn to use the library's new Midi Controller (a digital keyboard) and educational software to compose music during this 8 week course.
