This is a take-home craft for adults. Stop by the circulation desk after 11/25 to pick up a snowflake kit. Decorate and return your snowflake by Thursday, December 12th. Snowflakes will be delivered to local seniors at a care facility for the holidays!
Trivia Night!

Join us for a FREE Trivia Night at the library hosted by our Adult Services Librarian! Teams of 1-4 people are welcome to play for a chance to win a gift card. Questions will be "general knowledge", registration is required. Space is limited.

Join Windsor Locks native Phil Devlin for the inspiring story of a Connecticut town’s sacrifice and deep commitment in both World Wars of the 20th Century. This presentation is based on Phil's soon-to-be published book "WINDSOR LOCKS DURING THE WORLD WARS: The Inspiring Story of a Connecticut Town’s Sacrifice and Deep Commitment in both World Wars of the 20th Century", with articles, photos, and firsthand accounts of both World Wars. Phil details the incredible achievements of the town’s military personnel in both wars as well as the simply remarkable support of the townspeople in Windsor Locks. Copies of the book will be (optionally) available for purchase.

Join us for an evening storytime the first Wednesday of every month at 6pm.

BookBuggs is a casual book review group for people who love to read and want to discover more great books to check out.  The group gathers on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 3 p.m. in the Haskell Homestead Room to share opinions and reviews of recently read novels and nonfiction.  Come prepared to share information and insights about one or two books (new or old) and to engage in friendly discussions with fellow readers.  Most participants bring along a notebook for recording titles and authors that interest them.  New members are always welcome!
